12-hour day or waking night shifts on a Rota basis - 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated 2:1 support for a client in their own home. The role involves caring for an individual with a tracheostomy, ventilator support requirements, and a spinal condition including autonomic dysreflexia (AD).

This role requires confidence in delivering high-quality respiratory and clinical care, while building a consistent, trusting relationship with the client and their family. You will be fully supported by our in-house Registered Nurses and specialist training team, with client-specific training and competency sign-off provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• Tracheostomy care and suctioning

• Ventilator monitoring and support

• Respiratory observations and escalation

• Medication support

• Personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks

• Promoting independence, dignity, and safety at all times

Experience Required

To be considered, you’ll need:

• At least 3 months’ hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support role

• Confidence working with complex and clinical needs (tracheostomy/vent experience preferred; training provided if not client-specific)

• A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
